The Google and China War – Can Google defeat communism?
Google shut down its China-based search engine March 22 to avoid cooperating with the communist government’s Internet censorship and has rerouted users to Hong Kong. But Google said regulators told the company its Internet license, which allows it to operate a music download service and other features in China, would not be renewed after it expires Wednesday if that tactic continues.
Google should just tell Chinese that most of the hackers come from China. Praise be to Google wich stands for freedom. In this day of money and profit, Google is a city on the hill fighting for freedom.
Google has a relatively low market share there, so they’re not going to bend for the money. I’m proud of them for taking a stand against the communist regime. They’re a major company and this publicty alone is valuable.China’s policies just holds them back. They are so narrow minded they cannot see it. While they keep their walls up, the rest of the world keeps progressing. Too bad for the Chinese people.
I think we people should make a serious effort not to buy Chinese made products and companies who blatanly profit at our expense and this will not only help our trade balance and economy but also bring Chinese to their senses.
Lesson: know your enemy as your self and you will win a hundred battles. Fail to know your enemy as your self and you will lose a hundred battles. Japan tried to teach America that business is war. Unbalanced trade and respect for ideas and property removes the notion and equity of free trade agreements.
